Transition to new User Interface (TeamWork 5)


The TeamWork 5 (TW5) user interface (UI) has been available and running in parallel for over two years.  During this period we have collected feedback from users and implemented many improvements.  For the past year, all new features have been implemented in the TW5 UI and may or may not be accessible in V3.  In addition to testing, we have developed a library of over 200 training videos in support of TW5.  


It's now time to transition to the new user interface and eliminate the legacy UI and code.  This will help us deliver improvements and fixes faster, as well as meet modern best practices for accessibility, security, and performance.


The primary differences between the old and new interfaces are navigation and page layouts.  The sections, functionality, and your data are the same.  TW5 is mobile friendly and adapts to a variety of devices and screen sizes.  The UI also supports multiple languages and cultures, as well as the option to customize terminology.  


Employee Portal:

On January 15th, 2020, the employee portal will switch to the TW5 user interface.  Employees may switch back to the V3 interface at any time, via the Home page.  The V3 Employee Portal will be removed in the 2nd half of 2020.


Manager Portal:

On February 19th 2020, the manager portal will switch to the TW5 user interface.  Users may switch back to the V3 interface at any time, via the About page (Help/About from main menu).


We recommend that users only switch back to the V3 interface if a task or information is unavailable from TW5.  Please notify us of any discrepancies that you find and, as always, feel free to contact support with questions.
