This is the second Enterprise portal setup training checklist. Review the following initial setup items and complete advanced features.
Initial Setup
- Review Initial Setup items completed.
- Review Locations added: locations set up, sign-in codes established, locations deployed with status active, and 1st day of week set.
- Review Employees added: assigned to locations
- Review Stations added: assigned to locations
- Review Users: users set up, assigned to locations, assigned roles
- Review Roles: additional roles created, importance of limiting privileges like delete (restore costs $$$)
- Organization Section: Optional features
- Custom Fields. Add at least 1 custom field for Employees – see where visible on info page.
- Lists –Special Days, Leave Types, Reasons (add at least one to each so we can use in the location training)

- Time – If your organization is using the Time & Attendance module, there is additional configuration that must take place in the Enterprise portal.
- Add Pay periods in the Enterprise portal. Go to Time & Attendance > Configuration > Pay Periods.
- Set up Projects & Tasks in the Enterprise portal. Go to Time & Attendance > Configuration > Projects & Tasks. Deploy to location for use.
- Set up Time and Rules in the Enterprise portal. Go to Locations > Time > Setup Time & Rules.
- Set up default location project/task in the Enterprise portal. Go to Locations > Time > Default Project & Task.
- Set up valid clock IP addresses in the Enterprise portal. Go to Locations > Time > Valid IP Addresses
- Assign default project and task to employees in the Employee portal. Go to Time > Clock or Time > Card and select the Project/Task.

- CPack (Collaboration section: Events, Messages, Notify, and Feedback)
- Same functionality as in the Location portal with expanded share options to the entire Enterprise.
- Enterprise Controls:
- Messages: Monitor & delete options.
- Notify: Administration – Set user/employees profiles.
- Notify: Settings – Control employee share options.

Location Portal Training
- User logon: My Settings. Icon in top menu or tab on Home Page.
- Set support notification emails to Yes.

- Employees – Set up in Location
- Assigning Stations and Skill levels (0 skill level use).
- Auto fill parameters enforced: Availability, Max limits, Skill levels.
- Enter availability – use global if employee is deployed to more than 1 location.
- Mass Update tool: use for initial password for all employees.

- Information: Time Zone.
- Unique ID: Public Pages & iCal sync.
- Privileges: Settings for Employee Access & Swapboard Rules.
- Password checks. Password management is available in the Enterprise Controls.
