How Does This Functionality Help You?

  • The Collaboration Package (CPack) Sharing tab allows you to post calendar events and messages to other users and/or employees.
  • The CPack Broadcast tab allows the email of calendar events and messages to other users and/or employees.

Sharing an Event or Message

Sharing tab: Is for posting to other’s calendars or message board.

  1. Select the Event or Message to open the Edit pop-up window.
    If you are adding a new event or message, once you click save the Sharing and Broadcast tabs appear.
      
  2. Select the Sharing Tab.
  3. Choose the Scope:
    - Locations: You can share with all locations you are assigned to.
    - Individuals: For this location only. You can select individually other users or employees.
  4. Choose the Target:
    - Users (other schedulers) or Employees or both.
    - If Individuals is chosen as the scope, enter a % symbol in name search box to return the list of All, or enter the first letter of the last name.
    - Select Search for selected item list to appear in the selection box.
  5. Highlight the people you want to share with.
  6. Click the down arrow to move them into the Shares box.
    - Double arrows move all items at once.
    - Up arrows move them out of the Shares box.
  7. Select Save to place the event on others' calendars.

Broadcasting an Event or Message

Broadcast tab: Is for sending an email to others for an event or message.

  1. Select the Event or Message to open the Edit pop-up window.
  2. Select the Broadcast Tab.
    - An email will be sent to these individuals:
  3. Select Broadcast Now to send the email.
  4. A confirmation message tells you how many Emails were sent.


    Note: This information is not able to be viewed at a later time.

Reviewing Event Sharing and Broadcasting

  • You can see who the event was shared with by viewing the Shares box on the Sharing tab at any time.
  • The email recorded on the Broadcast tab is not stored for future viewing.
