Use the Policy Management module in conjunction with the Time & Attendance module to apply defined management policies and different pay rates to specific shifts and groups of employees. It helps you ensure pay practices adhere to a variety of laws, regulations, and employment agreements.
When the Policy Management module is enabled, links to Policies and Policy Components display in the Organization section located on the top menu of the Enterprise portal.
Situations when the Policy Management module is especially useful include:
- Enforcing overtime calculations when a shift is split over midnight
- Enforcing a point system for attendance and employees who are repeatedly tardy
- Enforcing shift differentials
- Enforcing holiday pay
- Deploying different projects, tasks, and activities to different employees working
in the same location
