Migration to AWS Data Centers
We are pleased to announce that the TeamWork application will be hosted via AWS Web Services. Our data center partner, Ntirety, has setup a highly available and secure web farm to host TeamWork as well as a managed security front end to ensure real-time monitoring and protection.
Utilizing AWS Web Services will provide a more flexible setup, able to scale and adapt much faster than our current dedicated cloud system. This migration reinforces our commitment to best practices in all aspects of our service delivery and software development.
Timeline
TeamWork instances will be migrated starting in April and concluding in early May. The administrators of each instance will be notified of the maintenance window and the window will be posted to the web site.
Downtime
TeamWork instances will be migrated after hours during low usage times. There will be a period of downtime lasting between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the instance.
Networking
The current domain names of each instance will remain the same and the DNS changes will roll out during the migration. Please note that IP addresses will not remain the same and indeed could change periodically as part of the AWS Load Balancer front end.
